Upgrade to vSphere 5.5 and set the advanced parameter NET.TcpipHeapMax = 512MB, as 128MB is the maximum in vSphere 5.1. (I also have my NFS Send and Receive Buffers = 512KB). Decrease the NFS.MaxQueueDepth to 128 (Common NFS Slot Size Max) – In this case it didn’t make any difference
